The Skints – Playing Boomtown Fair 2012

Since 2002 Bomber Music has been the UK’s leading alternative music publisher – working closely with the best bands from the underground scene. In 2010 they created their own label to help bands release albums, and give them some of the support that they needed. The label is distributed by Code7/PHD in the UK and by Broken Silence in Europe. Their digital distributor worldwide is Believe.
Bomber Music has announced that they have seven, that’s right, seven, bands playing at this year’s sell out Boomtown Fair!
Boomtown is a completely independent 4 day festival with absolutely no sponsorship or backing. It was simply created out of love for fun – and now with over 30 mad ridiculous stages – it has quickly become one of the craziest cities on the planet (Planet X, since you ask.)
This year’s Boomtown schedule includes everyone’s favourite ska band – The Skints plus appearances from those ska/punk bandits ‘Random Hand’, along with those loveable punk ruffians ‘Smokey Bastard’, and the dangerous rockabilly hucksters the ‘Graveyard Johnnys’.
The rocksteady – reggae masters ‘New Town Kings’ will also be there. As will newer Bomber Music signings ‘Jaya The Cat’ and ‘Anti-Vigilante’.
So that’s it … now that is what we call a good line-up!
